Unfortunately, the angler did not weigh the Warsaw Grouper, but it was evident that it was a champion among fish. The Rooster fish in Costa Rica, although not weighed, was described as being well over the limit, indicating its immense size and strength.

A Goliath Grouper encountered in the Gulf of Mexico near Tampa Bay, Florida, was an unforgettable experience. This fish, weighing at least 400 pounds and so massive it could swallow 4-5 basketballs in one go, left the anglers speechless. Unfortunately, the group did not have the capacity to weigh or measure it properly, but the visual impression remains etched in their minds. The mention of needing a chainsaw to fillet it illustrates the sheer size and weight of the fish.
