This program not only offers a paid internship but also provides many of the same benefits as regular Cast Members. While it requires hard work, approaching it as a fun and rewarding experience can help make the internship more enjoyable and fulfilling.

The program includes a range of accommodations, including DCP subsidized housing in one of four properties: Vista Way, Chatham Square, The Commons, or Patterson Court. Each of these properties has its own unique advantages. Vista Way, for instance, is the least expensive and offers convenient bus service directly to work. Patterson Court and Chatham Square are more luxurious, but come with a higher cost. Rent is automatically deducted from weekly checks, so it's essential to ensure that your daughter's chosen Role can cover these expenses.

Living in DCP housing can be a wonderful experience, with free bus service to and from work and even special days to Florida Mall. The Commons is another option, typically reserved for participants in the International College Program (ICP). Despite this, the program offers the same benefits as other participants, with the only difference being the place of origin. Remember that international participants are not exclusively housed at The Commons—some, like your daughter, may find themselves in other accommodations.

There are also various fees your daughter will need to consider. These include a $100 fee to accept the slot and an additional fee for a week or two of rent for subsidized housing. If she chooses to live elsewhere, she will need to arrange her own transportation to and from work.
