Sandvika is a small town with a small shopping street and a huge shopping centre - "Sandvika Storsenter." It has nice areas like Lkketangen where Lkkebro is situated as drawn by Monet and Kalvya, which is lovely in the summer. Where the river opens into the sea, there are often swans and a variety of ducks. There is also a small beach that is currently under development.

Unfortunately, Sandvika has too many roads, roundabouts, and motorways, making it a truly great town. Too much traffic noise and ugly road systems. The original town centre is also declining either because of the shopping centre or other lack of interest and attention. Plans for putting some of the roads underground have been discussed for a long time but have yet to materialize. As a result, Sandvika is a town with a rich history and natural beauty that is still evolving, and residents are keen to share their experiences and perspectives on its ongoing changes.
