Planning Your Dream Vacation: Exploring Travel Destinations for 2023

As travel enthusiasts, we're always dreaming about our next vacation. This year, my girlfriend and I have our hearts set on a dream getaway to Santorini, Greece, followed by travel to another country that we are still in the planning stages for. Short Term Adventures

Our first venture this year will be a small group trip to the Ohio Wine Country, just a couple of weeks from now. Following that, we have a thrilling Dominican Republic cruise with Virgin Voyages planned for December, a break from our usual all-inclusive resorts in Riviera Maya.

Long Term Goals

As always, we're keeping our fingers crossed for a trip to Mexico in the fall. However, with the ongoing health situation, we will be closely monitoring the CDC guidelines to ensure it remains a safe destination. Our fondest wish is to explore the beauty of Malaysia, particularly Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, and Sibu Sarawak, once the borders are fully open.

Considering Staycations

While these international trips are our dream destinations, plans have been postponed. The cruise and train trip that were scheduled from last year are currently under doubt. If travel opportunities are limited, we might opt for a staycation or a trip to a safe location within Germany.

Continuing Last Year’s Explorer Spirit

This year, like last year, will see us crisscrossing the Florida beaches, visiting Grandkids in North Carolina, and spending quality time with my Mother in Tennessee. We'll also take several trips to Hawaii to work on our properties, a place we've already visited three times this year. Each of these trips will be spaced about every two or three months to give us a full experience.

Burst of Adrenaline in My Backyard

Travel doesn't always have to be far away. This year, I'll be attending a wedding across the US, but I'll also explore my own backyard. Expect plenty of backpacking trips, day hikes, and surfing adventures. This is the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and rejuvenate before the next big adventure.
