Single Rider Policies and Ride Experience

If you plan to visit Lagoon with a single rider in your group, make sure to check the park map for specific policies. For instance, there may be certain rides like Jet Star II that have particular rules for single riders. I encountered a similar issue when I visited, where park staff tried to prevent me from riding attractions like the Colossus Wild Mouse, Spider, and Bat rides because I was traveling alone. This restriction wasn't clearly marked on their park map, which can be a surprise if you're not informed.

It's important to understand that these policies may affect your ride experience. Always check the Lagoon website and any related information ahead of time to be fully informed.

Planning Your Visit

Visit Lagoon on weekdays for a quieter and more relaxed experience. Weekends tend to be the busiest, with longer lines and more crowds. Planning your visit during off-peak hours can help you enjoy the park without the stress of waiting in long queues.

Favorite Rides at Lagoon

My three favorite coasters at Lagoon are Cannibal Wicked and Colossus. However, these rides have small capacities, meaning long lines are common. Here’s how you can manage your time:

Cannibal Wicked and Colossus have the longest lines, but they are located on opposite sides of the park. Try to knock these rides out early in your visit to avoid the long lines later in the day. Enjoy Ace as a wooden coaster that is the fourth oldest, dating back to 1921. It is one of the top ten oldest wooden coasters still operating in the US and has an ACE landmark plaque nearby.
