A standard suite and a professional suite are also available from Microsoft. A standard suite is a single-user license for a combination of Standard Sales plus Standard Service. You actually save a little money by purchasing a standard suite versus individual licenses. Similarly, a professional suite combines one professional Sales license with one professional Service license.

You can’t really mix and match Standard and Professional licenses.
Standard and Professional Sales licenses can’t be deployed together. Standard and Professional Service licenses can’t be deployed together. Standard and Professional suites can’t be deployed together.
If you have a Standard suite, you can’t use any Professional licenses.
If you have a Professional suite, you can’t use any Standard licenses.
